Devon Open Studios 2022
I’m delighted to share the news that I will once again be taking part in the Devon Open Studios event between September 10th and 25th.
Opening Times
Edge of the Teign VENUE 134 will be open every Thursday – Sunday between the 10th and 25th September from 10am until 5pm.
We have plenty of free parking, are wheelchair accessible and welcome art loving dogs on leads!
Edge of the Teign
Along with four other artists and makers, we make up the group ‘Edge of the Teign’ and amongst our collective, as well as myself, we have a wildlife artist, functional potter, blacksmith and ceramicist.
The Pavilion, Hearn Field. TQ12 4RR
Named because our beautiful venue sits right on the River Teign in Hearn Field, Combeinteignhead and we all live and work in close proximity to the water’s edge.
This year Tina Hill-Art is joining Angela Bennett, James Deane, Annie Drew and myself to set up our workspaces in the Pavilion.
Devon Open Studios is always a relaxed and friendly event, giving visitors the unique chance to watch us working, as we demonstrate our skills and share information about inspiration, tips and techniques.
Shop Local
It’s also a perfect opportunity to support individual and local business and all of us will have our latest original and limited-edition art and craft for sale.
So, whether you are an artist searching for inspiration, a local looking for a unique gift or a holidaymaker wanting something to take home to remind you of your break in Devon, come along to have a chat and a browse – everyone is welcome..
Silver Jewellery Experiences
Although I’m not able to run any workshops during Open Studios this year, I will be offering a discount to anyone who books up for a workshop in person at the event so, if you’ve ever fancied having a go at silversmithing, now could be the time to come along and have a chat about it
